Yes, both brand is good in one way or another. Canon vs Nikon and in 1 or 2 years vs Sony? I work with two systems, with Canon 5DII and Nikon D3/D700. Sometimes I think, Nikon make the best lenses and verry good flashs and than I think, the pictures from Canon looks bedder, feel bedder? I dont know what the future brings, but the photographer and the light making pictures. Regards from Cologne, Dirk

It is all about the “Shooter” and what setting suit him the most..

Thanks, Erick! That’s a great question, I think you’ve hit part of it, but I also think that it reflects people doing a lot less, well, street photography than they used to, where I think that maxim plays out as well today as yesterday. But I’m just guessin’. 🙂

Great story, Joe. And I love the old f/8 and be there philosophy. Seems like you don’t hear it as much these days. Maybe something to do with digital and the overall improvement in lens technology?
